About the Role

We're looking for AI Policy, Ethics & Compliance Analysts to evaluate AI-generated content against safety, fairness, and ethical standards — helping ensure that AI systems reflect human values.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong critical thinking and clear communication skills. No AI or policy background required.

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated content and evaluate it against safety, fairness, and ethical alignment criteria
  • Classify outputs based on compliance standards, accuracy, and potential for harm
  • Identify content that is misleading, biased, inappropriate, or in violation of policy guidelines
  • Write structured, clear feedback explaining your reasoning and flagging policy-related concerns
  • Work across a diverse range of topics and content types on a flexible, task-based schedule
  • Apply consistent judgment across nuanced and complex scenarios

Who You Are

  • A strong critical thinker who can assess nuanced content with objectivity and care
  • Genuinely interested in ethics, fairness, policy, or social responsibility
  • Able to articulate your reasoning clearly in writing
  • Detail-oriented, consistent, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior experience in AI, policy, or compliance required

Nice to Have

  • Background in ethics, philosophy, law, journalism, social sciences, or public policy
  • Experience evaluating content for quality, accuracy, or compliance in any context
  • Familiarity with AI tools or content moderation workflows
