- Is the job application tracker free?
- Yes. Tracking applications is free, with no card required and no cap on how many jobs you track. You only need a Skillora account.
- Do I need a browser extension?
- No. Paste the job posting URL into Skillora and it reads the page for you. There is nothing to install, so it works the same on your laptop, your work machine and your phone.
- What job boards does it work with?
- Any public job posting with a URL, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and most company career pages. If a page is behind a login and cannot be read, you can still add the job manually in two fields.
- What stages does the tracker use?
- Saved, Applied, Interviewing and Offer on the board, plus Rejected and Archived for anything that has closed out. Six fixed stages, so there is nothing to configure before you can start.
- How does it know an application has gone cold?
- Skillora watches how long each application has sat in its current stage. Applied with no movement for two weeks, or Interviewing with no movement for ten days, gets an amber flag so you know it is time to follow up.
- Can I see it as a list instead of a board?
- Yes. Switch between the kanban board and a sortable table at any time, and search or filter by company, role and status. The list view is the default on mobile.
- How is this different from a job tracker spreadsheet?
- A spreadsheet stores what you type into it and nothing else. Skillora fills in the job details from a link, keeps the full description attached to the application, flags the ones going quiet, and turns any of them into interview practice. The gap is the work you do not have to do.
