micro1 is engaging Senior Insurance Claims Experts (Liability, Property, Contents) to contribute expertise to a customer project focused on real-world insurance claim scenarios. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Senior insurance professionals will remotely review a variety of complex claims, including disputed-fault auto incidents using video evidence and statements, property and catastrophe damage via aerial imagery, and contents valuation based on photographs. You'll deliver your professional determinations and the reasoning an adjuster would document, leveraging your advanced technical knowledge and communication skills.

Scope of Work

  1. Review and analyze disputed-fault auto claims by evaluating video recordings, written statements, and supporting documentation.
  2. Assess property and catastrophe-related damages using aerial roof imagery and catastrophe photos to determine accurate liability and loss.
  3. Evaluate and identify contents claims through photographic evidence, providing detailed valuation and inventory assessments.
  4. Draft clear, well-reasoned determination reports mirroring the documentation standards of licensed adjusters.
  5. Apply comparative fault and liability principles to support precise and defensible claim outcomes.
  6. Communicate findings and rationale through succinct, professional written and verbal feedback as required.
  7. Contribute to the development of data and insights that will advance AI system accuracy and reliability in insurance claims processing.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance claims management with a focus on auto liability, property, catastrophe, and contents assessment.
  2. Active state adjuster license, or professional certifications such as AIC, CPCU, HAAG, or ACTAR.
  3. Demonstrated experience with comparative fault determination and complex liability assessments.
  4. Expertise in interpreting and analyzing photographic, video, and aerial imagery within an insurance claims context.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical reasoning clearly and professionally.
  6. Track record of producing thorough, accurate claim documentation and valuation reports.
  7. Comfort working independently in a fully remote, tech-enabled environment, leveraging digital tools for remote evidence review and report submission.
