About the Role

What if your fluency in Portuguese could directly shape how AI communicates with hundreds of millions of people around the world? We're looking for Portuguese language experts to evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Portuguese-language content — helping ensure the technology speaks naturally, accurately, and culturally authentically.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to native and near-native Portuguese speakers. No prior AI or tech experience required — your linguistic instincts are what matter most.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated Portuguese translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Portuguese
• Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
• Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule, at your own pace

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese (Brazilian, European, or other regional variants welcome)
• Strong written communication skills in Portuguese
• Solid command of contemporary Portuguese usage across a range of contexts and registers
• Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to evaluating language
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
• Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of regional Portuguese variations and how they differ in tone, vocabulary, and usage
• Experience working with quality rubrics or structured feedback formats
