Welsh Voice Actor / Voice-Over Artist (AI Speech Training)

About the Role

What if your Welsh accent could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists based in Wales to take part in paid in-studio recording sessions that help leading AI research teams improve how AI systems hear and process natural human speech.

This is a short-term contract role with competitive pay. Sessions are limited, so spots are filling fast.

• Note: This project does not involve voice cloning

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational Welsh-accented English speech in a professional studio environment
• Participate in single-speaker recording sessions and dual-speaker dialogue exchanges
• Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels natural and unscripted
• Follow light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery style
• Bring energy, professionalism, and authenticity to every session

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with recorded experience
• A native or near-native Welsh accent speaker — authentic regional delivery is essential
• Currently based in Wales
• Comfortable performing natural dialogue and conversational speech on cue
• Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
• Fluent in English to a working communication level

Nice to Have

• Acting or performance background
• Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or professional studio recording
• Familiarity with dialogue-based or character performance work
