About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of German speakers around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists to record high-quality German audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping frontier AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a great voice, a quiet space to record, and a passion for quality. This work does not involve voice cloning.

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality voice samples in German based on provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for naturalness, pronunciation, tone, and expressiveness
• Provide clear, constructive feedback to help improve AI-generated speech
• Review and refine scripts to ensure clarity and natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Fluent in German — native or near-native speakers strongly preferred
• Experienced in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or similar fields
• Equipped with a high-quality microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver clear, expressive, and engaging performances across a range of styles and tones
• Detail-oriented when it comes to assessing pronunciation, pacing, and vocal quality
• No prior AI or tech background required

Nice to Have

• Experience with broadcast, commercial, e-learning, or podcast voice work
• Familiarity with audio editing or recording software
• Awareness of regional German pronunciation variations (e.g. Austrian, Swiss German)
• Background in linguistics, drama, communications, or performance
