micro1 is engaging German Transcription Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on audio transcription and AI training. In this role, you'll apply your German language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Listen to and accurately transcribe audio content in German, ensuring fidelity to original meaning, tone, and context.
  2. Review and edit transcripts for adherence to linguistic and stylistic guidelines.
  3. Annotate transcripts with relevant metadata, such as speaker identification, timestamps, or context cues as required by project specifications.
  4. Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify ambiguous content and resolve linguistic uncertainties.
  5. Conduct quality assurance checks on transcriptions, ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency.
  6. Provide insightful feedback to improve transcription processes and guidelines.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and handle project data securely according to compliance protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Native-level fluency in German, with strong comprehension of both spoken and written language.
  2. Demonstrable experience in transcription, linguistics, or related language-focused work.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  4. Proficiency in using audio playback and transcription tools, as well as standard office software.
  5. Ability to interpret and apply project guidelines precisely.
  6. Familiarity with linguistic annotation and metadata practices is a plus.
  7. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in remote settings.
