As a Cloud Engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process. You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. You Have: • 2+ years of experience architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure • 2+ years of experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant computing environments in AWS or Azure • Experience with Terraform • Experience managing Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines • Top Secret clearance • HS diploma or GED • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of start date Nice If You Have: • Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) • Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby • Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration • TS/SCI clearance • Agile Certification • DevOps Certification • Cloud Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
