micro1 is engaging Avid Media Composer Editors to support a customer's project in high-impact video data annotation and AI model training. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Contribute to the annotation and curation of video data using Avid Media Composer workflows.
  2. Leverage professional editing techniques to provide accurate metadata and context for a variety of video content.
  3. Apply knowledge of broadcast and film post-production processes to inform AI data training assignments.
  4. Organize and manage media assets, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility for project objectives.
  5. Review, label, and segment video sequences as per specified guidelines to facilitate AI learning.
  6. Document your editing decisions and provide clear written feedback to support model refinement.
  7. Communicate effectively with project managers and technical leads through strong written and verbal channels to resolve queries and clarify requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Proven experience with Avid Media Composer in professional video editing environments.
  2. Familiarity with broadcast and film post-production workflows, particularly asset management and versioning.
  3. Strong organizational skills for media and project management tasks.
  4. Keen attention to detail in annotation, labeling, and metadata entry.
  5. Clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities.
  6. Experience at the entry or mid-career level in video editing or media production (senior-level expertise not required for this engagement).
  7. Interest in emerging technologies and willingness to work on AI-related video data projects.
