Role Title: CCH ProSystem fx Tax Specialist

micro1 is engaging experienced CCH ProSystem fx Tax Specialists and tax professionals to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world tax workflows. In this role, you’ll use your hands-on experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax and U.S. taxation to complete realistic tax preparation and compliance tasks.

Scope of Work

1. Complete realistic tax preparation and compliance workflows using CCH ProSystem fx Tax.
2. Prepare and review U.S. Federal and State tax returns based on provided scenarios.
3. Enter and review taxpayer information, income, deductions, credits, and other relevant tax data.
4. Work with common individual and business tax scenarios, including corporations and partnerships.
5. Review tax calculations and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information.
6. Use CCH ProSystem fx Tax to review diagnostics and resolve common tax return issues.
7. Explain the steps followed to complete common tax workflows.
8. Review completed work for accuracy and compliance.
9. Document processes and provide clear written feedback according to project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on professional experience using CCH ProSystem fx Tax.
2. Professional background in tax preparation, tax accounting, tax compliance, or public accounting.
3. Experience preparing and/or reviewing U.S. Federal and State tax returns.
4. Familiarity with individual and business returns, including corporations and partnerships.
5. Strong understanding of common U.S. tax forms, terminology, and filing processes.
6. Ability to independently navigate CCH ProSystem fx Tax and complete common workflows.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tax or data-entry errors.
8. Ability to clearly explain tax preparation steps and decisions.
