micro1 is selecting Computer User Support Specialists to contribute their advanced troubleshooting capabilities to a key customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Diagnose and resolve common and complex hardware, software, and networking issues using industry best practices.
  2. Provide guidance on OS support (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and network connectivity, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and DNS-related concerns.
  3. Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and user interactions clearly within a ticket management system.
  4. Contribute detailed process insights that enhance future support workflows and training data quality.
  5. Collaborate asynchronously and communicate technical concepts effectively through written and verbal channels.
  6. Identify patterns in support issues, offering recommendations or process improvements to the project team.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3 years' proven experience providing Tier 2/3 IT support.
  2. Expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across varied platforms.
  3. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and DNS troubleshooting.
  4. Proficiency with ticket management systems and thorough documentation practices.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on user-friendly explanations.
  6. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL are advantageous.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality input for technical projects.
