micro1 is engaging Medicinal Chemistry Experts to participate in a diverse and impactful project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Analyze and review complex medicinal chemistry data, reactions, and experimental designs.
  2. Evaluate and annotate chemical structures, mechanisms of action, and structure-activity relationships (SARs) to provide expert insights.
  3. Contribute accurate, detailed feedback on molecular properties, compound synthesis strategies, and optimization pathways.
  4. Assess and refine datasets to ensure quality and relevance for AI model development.
  5. Identify potential errors, ambiguities, or inconsistencies in chemistry-related content and suggest improvements.
  6. Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and technical teams to clarify project requirements and submissions.
  7. Participate in iterative reviews to enhance the fidelity and applicability of data for training advanced AI applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a closely related field.
  2. Extensive experience (5+ years) in medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, or pharmaceutical R&D environments.
  3. Strong understanding of organic synthesis, molecular design, and SAR analysis.
  4. Proven ability to interpret and critique experimental data, literature, and patent information.
  5. Familiarity with cheminformatics platforms, structure drawing tools, and relevant scientific databases.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and scientific communication skills.
  7. Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects or contributing expert knowledge to technology-driven initiatives is a plus.
