micro1 is engaging Mental Health Experts to contribute to a high-impact customer project focused on the advancement of AI technologies in mental health. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with substantial experience in providing direct patient care to military personnel or veterans, whether as board-certified psychiatrists (post-residency) or clinical psychologists (PhD completed).

Scope of Work

  1. Review and evaluate mental health materials, case studies, and simulated patient interactions relevant to military and veteran populations.
  2. Provide expert feedback and nuanced analysis to refine AI models' understanding of clinical best practices, diagnostic processes, and therapeutic approaches.
  3. Create, edit, and curate prompts, responses, and scenarios that reflect real-world challenges experienced by military and veteran patients.
  4. Identify domain-specific terminology, cultural nuances, and communication techniques essential for effective mental health support in this population.
  5. Participate in virtual discussions or consultative sessions to align on project goals and share clinical perspectives.
  6. Document findings, recommendations, and potential improvements in a clear, structured, and accessible format.
  7. Ensure all contributions meet high standards for clinical accuracy, relevance, and sensitivity to the unique needs of service members and veterans.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Medical doctor (psychiatrist) with completed residency, or psychologist with completed PhD.
  2. Demonstrated direct patient care experience with military and/or veteran populations.
  3. Deep familiarity with trauma, PTSD, TBI, adjustment disorders, and other conditions prevalent among service members.
  4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences.
  5. Experience developing or reviewing clinical content, training materials, or assessment tools.
  6. Strong attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and cultural competence.
  7. Adaptability and interest in contributing to technology-driven mental health solutions.
  8. We are prioritizing applicants with proficiency in one or more of these languages: Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, Bulgarian.
