micro1 is engaging Video Editors for a project focused on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. This is an AI training and video annotation project rather than a traditional editing or post-production assignment.

Your ability to analyze footage frame by frame, recognize timing and continuity, and notice small visual changes translates directly to this work. You will identify and label actions, events, and outcomes with precision, helping create reliable training data for next-generation AI systems. No prior experience in AI, robotics, or data annotation is required—your visual judgment and editing background are what matter.

Scope of Work

1. Review video footage of robotic arms performing tasks, following detailed annotation and grading guidelines provided by the customer.
2. Identify and label actions, object interactions, transitions, task outcomes, errors, and other relevant events within each video segment.
3. Apply frame-by-frame analysis, timing awareness, and continuity judgment to determine when actions begin, change, and end.
4. Use dedicated annotation tools to mark video events precisely and consistently.
5. Flag unclear footage, visual inconsistencies, or ambiguous moments and document your observations in concise written notes.
6. Contribute to quality control by reviewing annotations and providing constructive feedback when requested.
7. Complete assigned batches accurately and within established deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Professional or academic background in video editing, post-production, filmmaking, audiovisual production, or a related field.
2. Experience reviewing footage closely for timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency.
3. Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar tools.
4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive frame-level review.
5. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to document visual observations clearly and objectively.
6. Experience with video annotation, visual QA, AI training projects, or robotics is helpful but not required.
