About the Position:
As a Data Engineer, you will play an important role in building, maintaining, and improving the data systems that support DirectRx. This position combines data engineering and analytics, with a focus on developing reliable data pipelines, integrating systems, and delivering reporting that helps drive informed decision making. You will work closely with departments across the organization to improve data quality, automate processes, and develop solutions that support continued growth.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries within Snowflake to support reporting, analytics, and business operations.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that collect and integrate data from internal systems and third-party applications.
- Build and maintain data integrations using APIs to support the exchange of information across multiple platforms.
- Transform, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Analyze data to identify trends and support operational and strategic decision making.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for leadership and other departments.
- Monitor and improve the performance of the Snowflake data warehouse and related data processes.
- Troubleshoot data issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand reporting needs and develop practical data solutions.
- Document data processes, system integrations, and technical solutions.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills with hands on experience using Snowflake.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating data across multiple systems.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language used for data engineering.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
