What the work looks like

Typical projects: reviewing model-built valuation walkthroughs and marking where the logic breaks, writing worked examples of accounting treatments under GAAP or IFRS, grading tax reasoning against the actual rules, and constructing case questions of the kind asked in banking and consulting interviews. Excel-modeling projects exist but most of the work is written reasoning.

The hiring bar is practitioner experience: investment banking, private equity, equity research, FP&A, public accounting, tax. CPAs and CFA charterholders clear specialist screens fastest, and US market and US tax knowledge is the most demanded, which suits the feed’s mostly-US listings.
