About this role

Role Title: Arts, Media & Design Expert — PowerPoint Review & Reconstruction

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

micro1 is engaging Arts, Media & Design Experts to contribute to an innovative customer project focused on elevating executive-level presentation materials. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Receive images of business-centric slides in the arts, media, and design space (such as editorial strategies, audience analyses, production plans, and creative reviews).
  2. Reconstruct each slide using Microsoft PowerPoint, ensuring all content is accurately represented, visually cohesive, and professionally formatted.
  3. Enhance the original slide's clarity, data visualization, storytelling, and visual appeal according to best practices in design and media communication.
  4. Write a detailed log for each slide, clearly explaining improvements made as well as any intentional choices to preserve existing elements and the rationale behind those decisions.
  5. Demonstrate an ability to identify and defend sound design or editorial choices, not just improve weaker aspects.
  6. Ensure all terminology, caveats, and domain definitions are preserved with factual accuracy and context-sensitive edits.
  7. Deliver each assignment within a 1–2 hour timeframe per slide, participating in flexible, sprint-based project cycles as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3 years of practical experience in media, publishing, entertainment, or design-related roles.
  2. Proven ability to create and enhance executive-level or client-facing PowerPoint presentations, especially those requiring sophisticated data visualization and narrative structure.
  3. Demonstrated skills in content editing, visual storytelling, and message hierarchy within the context of business communications.
  4. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and expert command of PowerPoint's layout, formatting, and design features.
  5. Comfort providing clear, evidence-based rationale for both modifications and retentions in presentation content and style.
  6. Familiarity with factual accuracy, domain-specific terminology, and the nuances of editorial decision making.
  7. Prior experience with AI training data, model evaluation, or rubric-writing is a plus, but not required.
