About this role

Role Title: Marketing, Sales & Communications Expert — PowerPoint Review & Reconstruction

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

micro1 is engaging Marketing, Sales & Communications Experts to contribute to a customer’s project focused on high-impact business presentations. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Receive images of business slides related to marketing, sales, and communications materials and reconstruct them in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  2. Elevate slides by enhancing visual design, data visualization, and storytelling while preserving factual accuracy and domain-specific definitions.
  3. Write a detailed log for each slide, clearly explaining both improvements made and intentional choices to preserve elements, defending strong original decisions as needed.
  4. Work with various presentation types, including campaign performance reviews, brand strategies, sales pitch decks, and executive board or investor communications.
  5. Apply critical thinking, content editing, and written communication skills to clarify messaging, structure, and evidence-supported points.
  6. Ensure that revised slides reflect best practices in marketing, sales enablement, and corporate communications without diluting core industry caveats or context.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, brand, sales enablement, corporate communications, or relevant agency environments.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in building executive-level presentations for senior leaders or client stakeholders.
  3. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, including layout, visual hierarchy, and data visualization best practices.
  4. Strong critical thinking and attention to detail; able to articulate the rationale for both improvements and preserved elements.
  5. Exceptional written communication skills, with the capacity to explain messaging hierarchy and exhibit choices in a clear, concise manner.
  6. Direct industry or practitioner experience valued more than a consulting-firm background; both industry contributors and consultants are welcomed.
  7. Prior experience with AI training, evaluation, or rubric development is a plus, though not required.
