These remote financial analyst jobs pay you to check the finance work an AI model produces. You read its forecast, its DCF or its read on a 10-K, mark every wrong number and weak assumption, and write the answer a senior analyst would sign off. Some roles have you build the model or the task first, so the AI has something hard to be graded on.

What the work looks like

Expect contract work, not employment. You are an independent contractor paid by the hour, with no benefits, and a project ends when the lab has the data it needs.

Every marketplace screens before it pays. Mercor and micro1 run an AI interview about your finance background, and Alignerr adds short assessments graded against the project’s rubric. Treat the screen like a model review: show the working, name the convention and commit to a number.
